Well this is the approprate month to ask. Because October falls under lots of scary movie marathons. Whats your favorite scary movie and bad guy? I'm not into terror movies because of the blood and guts. Not the violence, the discusting images afterwards even though its fake!. I do watch them sometimes. My favs: Hanable, Child Play and Scream. My favorite villian: Hanable Lector. Very witty, and creative I must say.

The Exorcist
And as the film was based on a true account of Satanic possession its even more disturbing

when you think of what that boy's family must have gone thru in Pensylvania.

I saw the first chapter of that movie. The current chapter is how it all began and we only saw commercials for it for 1 month and nothing more.

I haven't seen many, but out of the ones I've seen, I like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the original parts 1 and 2. The new one was pretty good for a remake, but they had this other one with Rene Zelwigger and Matthew McConniheigh that majorly sucked! The second one had some hilarious parts in it, that family is downright crazy! I wonder how Leatherface can stand having other people's dead skin on his face all the time?

Two villians I am getting sick of seeing reserected: Freedy and Jason. Damn those two can't be killed off. Like I went into block buster video's website and there's like 10 or more movies in the Friday the 13th series and if I'm correct 9 in the A Nightmare on Elm Street series. Then have the two battle it out. Having to repeat more then 4 times gets quite old.

"Event Horizon" without a shadow of the doubt is the scariest movei I've seen. I love Evil dead 3 "the Army of Darkness" because it's so tongue-in-cheek and it's more of a sick comedy than a real horror movie. :) The first Scream movie was great and Courtney Cox is an awesome actress (especially when you didn't think of her as Monica from Friends") but I found that the other two sCream movies sucked. Like Aliens (the 2nd Alien movie)and "the Ring" is actually a great movie, it has a semi credibl story line and is pretty cool, especially the ending (it's very visual though).
cheers

Yeah the first movie for Scream was awesome but I could never get into the other installments for that series.

Omg, TCM is scary!! Well... the new one. I saw it last year. I will never watch that movie again! However, I wanna see the 1973 Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The question is... why? The new one scared me so much, so why the hell do I wanna see the old one?

My favorite scary movie would have to be Jeepers Creepers. i love it! even though the actors suck, its worth it to watch that creepy thing chase them around and sniff their clothes and stuff. not exactly scary, but still good.

Freddy and Jason are stupid. I didnt even watch the Freddy vs. Jason movie because i knew it was gonna suck. So i agree that no movie should ever have more than one sequel, let alone 10! There just aren't enough new storylines to make it interesting anymore.

well, i like the first scream. and the shining was pretty good. i also liked teaching mrs. tingle. that wouldn't really be considered a scary movie to some people, but i found it a little bit scary.

Hmmm. Probably The Haunted Mask II. The Music freaked me out lol, and also the panic in the peoples' voices. I know it's R.L. Stein but the movie was great! Hehehe. Plus I don't watch too many movies anyway, and I watched it in the dark. Or listened. Whatever! Hehehe. Caitlin
